Paul A. Lahey, Esq

Paul Lahey joined OGA as an associate in 1998.   Paul grew up in the area and graduated from Valley Central High School.   He is a graduate of Cornell University (B.S.) and Pace Law School (J.D.).

  

 

Prior to joining the Firm, Paul was employed by the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney and Investigator and as a Deputy Sheriff for the Duchess County Sheriffs Department.   He has served as Fire Commissioner of the Arlington Fire District and worked as an EMT-Paramedic  from 1982 to 2002.   

He has been an Adjunct Professor at Marist College in the Criminal Justice Program of the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences for many years.

He has lectured on worker's compensation issues before the IWBA and National Business Institute.

 

Paul is a member of the the New York State Bar Association, the Dutchess County Bar Association, and the Injured Workers’ Bar Association and admitted to the United States Supreme Court.

 

In his free time Paul enjoys cooking, sailing, scuba diving, hunting, bicycling, and raising guide dogs for the blind.
